Fragrance Walk and the Geometry of Botany

When we witness geometric patterns in botany, we witness it’s rhythm of growing. While trees move at a glacial pace, their subtle motion leaves behind a trail in the form of visual patterns.

Just like tree rings reflect the fingerprint of seasons, each species grows in a rhythm that is imprinted in their body.

This Sunday come join me for a dark room projector experience with geometry, sounds, and incense.

Fragrance Talks are intended to continue my tradition of mixing storytelling and fragrances, which generally happen outdoors. For the indoor experience, I’ve handpicked one incense stick for each talk along with with a sonic storytelling experience.

The talk will cover:

• Fractals of arborisation or the Branching of trees

• Fibbonacci sequence in leaves

• Radial geometry of flowers

• Spinning motion as a synchronised dance REMEMBRANCE

botanical art exhibition At the venue, my debut botanical art exhibition, Remembrance, will be on display. The artworks are made from dried botanicals foraged from living, dead, and dying trees in Lalbagh. The show is in tribute to the fallen trees of Lalbagh, like Ficus Cunninghami, Pride of Bolivia, and last surviving mango tree of Tipu Sultan.
